船中でカロリーメイトとお茶だけで朝食にしていたが、腹も減らないのでそのまま列車で移動を開始する。奈良あたりで遊んで行こうかとも思ったが、３連休の観光地なんぞ混雑してどうしようもないだろうから止めて素直に新快速で東海道線を走ることにした。米原、大垣と移動して大垣から豊橋までの特別快速に乗る。大阪を発ったのが早かったおかげで普段は乗ることのない便に乗っているのだった。（日記より）
