青春１８きっぷの旅 2014年夏 9月6日（２）
富山〜直江津間を走るのは国鉄４１３系という旧いタイプの電車です。第三セクターにもそのまま引き継がれるとか。以前、訪れた際（当時は直江津から富山へ向けて乗ったのですが）は寝台電車を改造したさらに旧いタイプで「食パン電車」という渾名がついていました。さすがに旧くなりすぎて引退したようです。
