【豊橋かと思ったが撮影時刻から大垣到着時のものと思われる。豊橋での乗り換えはいつもシビアなので、こんなもんだろう。】

その後、豊橋から大垣、米原といつもの乗り換え。豊橋では危うく間違えて普通列車に乗るところだった。到着したホームの対向にドアを開けて待っているのだからこれ幸いと乗り込んだのである。車内の乗客数が少なくて何か変だなあ、と。座っていた男が慌てて出て行ったのを見てはたと気づき、跨線橋を駆け上がって新快速に滑り込んだ。（日記）
