5時始発の有楽町線で池袋までいき、丸ノ内線に乗り換えて東京まで。これで東海道線３２３M（東京駅5時46分発沼津行）に間に合った。改札を潜った時電光掲示板を見て間に合わないなあ、と思いつつホームのエスカレータに辿り着いた時点で発車ベルがなったので列車に走り込んだのだった。
